A photovoltaic park is an expanse of thousands of panels. They have to last twenty years, but how do you know whether each one is doing its job?

The problem

If a panel loses efficiency after ten years, how do you prove to the manufacturer that it belongs to that defective batch and get it replaced under warranty? Without reliable data for every serial number, thousands of euros are lost in unproduced energy and unclaimed warranties.

The solution

We give every single panel an energy identity. Each module is a unique ID in the engine. Once installed, the plant must be monitored, managed, and maintained. If one area of the park underperforms, the system instantly identifies the serial number of the panel responsible. We provide historical performance data for every unit, useful for warranty claims and for showing to customers, and at end of life the serial number can guide the certified recycling of precious materials such as silver and silicon.
